 Am letzten Samstag, dem 25.Oktober, fand im Rosenhof in Osnabrück das Eröffnungskonzert der drei jungen Voc`n`Roll „The Baseballs“ statt. Digger, Sam und Basti, die sich 2007 im siffigen Leergutlager eines Berliner Heavy Metall Proberaums kennen gelernt haben, rockten den Rosenhof vor gut 300 Zuschauern und präsentierten nicht nur die aktuellen Songs aus ihrem Album „Strike“. Die drei spielten auch absolut neue Songs, wobei es sich zur Überraschung vieler nicht nur wie sonst, um gecoverte Songs aus den aktuellen Charts im guten Rock`n`Roll handelte,sondern es gab erstmals auch “eigene“ Songs zu hören. Nach etwas über zwei Stunden genialer Voc`n`Roll Musik gab es..dann noch zwei Zugaben die den Rosenhof zum beben brachten. Egal ob Akapella oder selbst hinter den Instrumenten,die Jungs lieferten eine Super Show und sind auf jeden Fall im Auge zu behalten. Bis Weihnachten kommen noch ca. 30 weitere Konzerte in Deutschland,der Schweiz und am 19.11.09 sogar eines in Helsinki/Finnland,wo es „The Baseballs“ mit ihrem Album gerade auf Platz acht der aktuellen Charts geschafft haben.  On last Saturday, October the 25th, the opening concert of the three guys named “The Baseballs” took place in Osnabrück Rosenhof. Sam, Digger und Basti met each other in an old Heavy Metal rehearsal room in Berlin. They rocked the Rosenhof before about 300 visitors and presented the latest songs from their new album "Strike". Apart from the obligatory cover songs of the latest hits from the Rock’n’Roll charts, this time the fans were especially excited from the specially composed songs of the band. After about 2 hours ingenious Voc'n'Roll music, two more additions still took the Rosenhof quake. Whether A Capella or behind the instruments, the boys provided a super show and are definitely keeping an eye on. Until Christmas coming up about 30 more concerts in Germany, Switzerland and on 19.11.09 even in Helsinki / Finland, where the guys from “The Baseballs” currently are on the 8th place of the charts. |

In Ihren Hallen entstehen nicht nur Stählerne Garagentore der besonderen Art, oder Skulpturen, nein auch Außergewöhnliche Fahrzeuge wie Hot Rods und Zubehör, wie Krümmer, Tanks und Pritschen. Das gesamte Sortiment an Oldtimerzubehör kann man am Hanomag L28 der Firma bestaunen. Der eigentliche Punkt aber war, das mir der Jörg (Geschäftsführer) bei unserem letzten Treffen erzählte, er habe ein ganz neues Hot Rod Projekt. Einen Citrön AC 4 Baujahr 1929 den er zum Hot Rod umbaut. Ich dachte schon, dass diese Geschichte einen Besuch wert wäre. Wie die Fotos zeigen, war es das auch. Ein Hauch Nostalgie weht in den Hallen der Creativhouse GmbH. Alte Maschinen zur Edelstahl Bearbeitung gepaart mit dem Geruch von Öl und Schweißbrennergasen. In der Ecke ein altes BMW-Gespann, in einer anderen ein alter Sperber aus tiefsten DDR-Zeiten, im Pausenraum ein original Wurlitzer Zigarettenautomat. An den Wänden Blechschilder, ein altes Motorrad und aktuell entsteht ein Gemälde mit Hot Rod. Das ganze zu bestaunen in gedämpften Werkstattlicht. Mega Geile Atmosphäre. Das nächste Projekt steht gleich neben dem Citrön, ein Ford Ranchero Baujahr 1973. Es gibt viel zutun also packen sie es an. Ich werde euch auf dem Laufenden halten was die Fahrzeuge angeht. One can marvel the full assortment in old-timer accessories at the company in Hanomag L28. The real point, however, is that Jörg the managing director told at our last meeting, that he wants to start a brand new Hod Rod project: to build a Citrön Ac 4, year 1929 into a Hot Rod. As I heard that and saw the great photos, I had to visit this project. A touch of nostalgia surrounds the hall of the Creativehouse GmbH. Old machines that work on stainless steel and the smell of engine oil. In the corner an old BMW, an aged Sperber from deepest East times and in the break room an original Wurlitz cigarette machine. Metal shields on the wall, an old motorcycle and currently creating painting with Hot Rod cars. This rare and special sight is presented in the low light of the workshop. An absolutely great atmosphere! The next project just stands beside the Citrön: a Ford Ranchero year 1973. A lot of work for the guys from the Creativehouse GmbH.
